I just got confirmed (right on the spot if I might add) for a job that I wanted since last year (was underage by a year at the time) working as a ride operator at Great America. The interviewer hired me after the interview was over and I'm pretty happy that I got the job. Needless to say, I will be donating some of the money I make to our servers to help out Mav in his human trafficking.... I mean... server expenses  ;D

Lt. Maverick

WoW!!!!! Congrats Brother! Fantastic news!!!!!!!!! Trips me out to see all my boys growing up! Keep us posted on the fun!

Mav's Favorite Quotes:

"A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week" - General George Patton
"No poor bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making other poor bastards die for theirs" - General George Patton
"We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm" - George Orwell
"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses." - The Blues Brothers
"AFK for just fifteen guys!" - Mav

To think, you've known me since I was 16

That means I've known you since you were 16....gross

Congrats on the new job (yeah I'm late to the party shh)!
NaNaNaNaNaRainbow Dash is best pony!

Amura you have known me since i was 15 nerd

After my first two shifts (1-9 on saturday and sunday) I am completely worn out and very sore. The first ride that I worked was very easy, then the second ride that I work is 100x harder and requires a lot of physical labour which gets very tiring after you push about 20 carts that weigh at least 500-680lbs each onto a tripping mechanism. After doing that for about an hour I can still barely feel my lower body and my arms. Its a tough job but I really like the people that I work with.

BOOM! Tribium

Sounds like the job is going to help you build some character  ;)

It really is. Having gone through ROTC in highschool is proving to be very useful.
